“Bigger and better than ever” : Leeds Christmas Market set to return for the first time in four years

Leeds Christmas Market is back in full swing !

The countdown to Christmas is already underway as Leeds City Council have announced the grand return of the well known Leeds Christmas Market.

Since the pandemic, the Christmas market has been downsized to conform to covid-19 guidelines ; however for the first time in four years all 120 stalls will be up and running in Millennium Square, Leeds Corn Exchange, Briggate and 13 other streets.

The “Ice Cube” will also be set to open this year, along with brand new Bavarian stalls, new street food and even more mulled wine.

The market will be open 24th November until 22nd December 2023, the “ice cube” will remain open until December 31st 2023.

Leeds City Councilor, Jonathan Pryor, has promised this years Christmas market will be “bigger and better than ever.”

Due to huge Christmas markets (such as Lincoln) being closed this year, Leeds is set to have a busy December.

Speaking with “Thor Tipi Bar” manager, Polly, she explained how the expansion will effect her business as they prepare to return to Leeds Christmas market for the seventh year running.
