Bradford (Park Avenue) came away with a well earned point after drawing 1-1 with Whitby Town at their home, the Horsfall Stadium.

Whitby Town came into the game on an absolute high following their successful 3-1 victory, just over a week before, against Chelmsford City in the FA Cup which earned them a place in the competitions ‘first round proper’.

With Park Avenue without a win in any competition since 2 September, sitting 18th in the Northern Premier League, it was a performance of paramount importance. After going a goal down in the first half, it was substitute Chinedu Osadebe who’s goal just after half-time meant that the points were shared.

I spoke to Bradford (Park Avenue) manager Mark Bower after the game.
