Leeds City Council have recently teamed up with Beryl to add a new network of e-bikes to Leeds City centre. These will provide another option of transport for those who may not drive and want to take a healthier and more eco-friendly option to public transport.
The e-bikes are available to rent for hire through via the Beryl app where limited time passes can be bought. On average a day pass works out to costing twelve pence per minute, a cheap and affordable alternative for those who may not have access to a car.
Using the eco friendly bikes has a positive effect on the environment as this will improve air quality by reducing exhaust emissions and also help reduce road congestion.
Finn Ramsay, a regular user of the Beryl bikes had many positive points to say about the bikes being introduced in Leeds.
