Scandinavian themed bar says this is their busiest year yet.

Thor’s tipi has returned to Leeds for their seventh year in a row.

The re-opening of Leeds Christmas markets this year has meant that Thor’s Tipi is busier than ever.

located in the centre of Leeds, the bar has a fire pit, Christmas décor and serves a variety of seasonal drinks.

The bar made a comeback from Covid last year, but coinciding with the return of the market this year, it’s attracting even more people than before.

Bar tender Christina Walker said, “I think people are just wanting that Christmas spirit again because obviously we lost it for the past two years, so I think this means a lot to people and it’s gotten very busy over the Christmas period”

Brandon Lakin Thor’s Leeds general manager said, “It’s a sixty forty Christmas North split, it’s how we imagined Nordic people would sit around the fire together drinking mulled wine.”

“Walking through the bar to get to work last year was hard, however actually getting onto my site this year was a struggle, there was a sea of people everywhere which was brilliant.”

Leeds is the second top selling Thor’s bar in the UK. They have other bars at various locations such as London and York.

Thor’s Tipi bar will run up until the 31st December.
