Leeds’ ‘Wear and Share’ charity have launched their Leeds Winter Coat Appeal for 2025 and have big plans to exceed their 2024 figures. Last year they ‘saved families £272,800 by giving out 8,900 items of winter clothing’ according to Tracy Morgan, the charity’s Project coordinator.
This week the appeal launched with 19 drop off points across Leeds currently and they’re ‘expecting more to be added as the appeal progresses’ Morgan said. At the beginning of November until the end of February coats will be available for free from 25 locations around Leeds ensuring to keep families warm this winter.
