A Leeds business says Artificial Intelligence is helping them focus on their clients, rather than admin.

Claire Daniels CEO of Trio Media spoke about her challenges and victories in growing a startup AI tool for her business.

“I was able to spend more time doing the things that matter, rather than waste my time with all the admin work.”

“It all started in 2023, when I was first introduced to ChatGPT.”

Her business got a grant from the University of Huddersfield which helped accelerate sales and client relationships.

“I was able to work with graduates and offer a foot in the door for people struggling to gain experience soon after graduating university.”

David Kausinis an AI integrator who has worked for Trio Media for three months and overlooks all the workflow for the company said that AI was the “best decision to make to help a marketing agency.”

Trio Media designs and builds websites and also offers performance services such as SEO.

This week the Leeds Community Healthcare Trust and Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust shared positive outcomes of AI use to help cut clinician documentation burdens.

On the other hand engineers and teachers are wary about the consequences of using AI.

Mahmoud Fadlelmula, Trio’s AI engineer said there is still fear out there that AI is going to “take over”.

“Many of us students are using AI to understand what we have been taught but we are skeptical about the answers that we get.”

Fadlelmula has worked with both universities and industry.

The Royal Armories Museum was one of the many venues who hosted an AI conference, bringing together business owners, engineers and innovators.
