Leeds pride bar Queen’s Court has announced their upcoming events following the recent £250,000 renovation.
The venue, owned by the Stonegate Group, has undergone a major transformation of the bar and the nightclub area upstairs, along with the outside seating area in the courtyard.
Being a listed building, the updates are cosmetic, but the changes are dramatic with the brand new VIP area, new toilets, and new stage area along with the two new mirror balls adorning the ceilings.
Both floors of the venue have received brand new decor and redecoration of the interior walls with two state of the art bar areas.
Manager Simon Almey said: “The whole of the downstairs which is Queens Court has been totally re-decorated. We’ve had brand-spanking new toilets put in which was one of the big things our customers wanted. I can honestly say this is the best it’s ever looked.”

It’s a male-only event with DJs from around the country, that’s from 10pm until 4am. Then we have a female-only event launching on November 2, which is called GIRL, they are an external promoter from London. Our new weekly event is Filthy Gorgeous, which will be every Friday. That is a student event so we have cheap drinks on the night”
Queen’s Court is a long-standing LGBTQIA+ venue celebrating its 30th anniversary in May. It is right in the heart of Leeds’ pride scene on Briggate and is now open 7 days a week.
