When visiting the frozen yogurt establishment called Kefiyo on Ash Road in Headingley, I interviewed Emma, who is one of the employees at Kefiyo. The shop opened six months ago and has been a great success, with queues down the street almost every evening since it opened on May 1st, 2026. She’s been working there for 2 weeks, and I had the chance to ask her a couple of questions about its popularity and menu options. Everyone has their favourites and this is Emma’s favourite, “I like the vegan coconut (flavour), which is controversial.” Kefiyo has made a name for themselves online, promoting the store via TikTok and Instagram, having an overall following of 7,500 across both platforms.
