Holbeck to see major improvements in recreation areas to help encourage to cycle or walk instead of using cars.
Leeds City Council have introduced a project called the ‘Streets for People Scheme’.

Holbeck are set to receive around £900,000 to improve recreational areas and to fund wider footpaths, cyclist segregation, junction closures and improved greenery.

This will hopefully help to encourage the people of Leeds to leave their cars at home and walk or cycle and help reduce air pollution while also encouraging healthier lifestyles.
