There’s only one hour to go until the main programme goes live.

14:45 – Hadiyah Ilyas reports

Reporters Hadiyah and Vidit have been working on a story about the extortionate prices of school uniforms.

14:30 – A new Hygiene Bank in Leeds

The Hygiene Bank have launched a Leeds based bank aiming to tackle hygiene poverty in the region.

The aim of the group is to redistribute hygiene related products to those in need across the City.

The Hygiene Bank already have 821 drop-off locations across the country and have supported over 2,000 organisations.

14:15 – New bus shelters in Leeds

Following months of construction work near the Corn Exchange, new bus shelters have been installed.

Construction work will continue around the area in the coming months, with further improvements set to be made to an area where over 100 buses travel through every hour.

13:55 – Louisa Trussell reports

Louisa and Mia attended the annual reclaim the night march in Leeds this weekend.

They will be getting the views of the people there and finding out how important the march is 44 years on.

13:45 – Dan Flynn reports

Dan and Kaveen have been at the Christmas Market in Millennium Square.

Following the recent announcement that the annual German Christmas Market would not go ahead, a replacement market has been setup to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.

13:30 – Isobel Howard reports

Isobel and Fin are out in Leeds filming ahead of the programme at 16:00.

They’ll be ready with an update on the punishments for leaving out your bin.

13:15 – Snow way out for Oasis tribute band

Storm Awern has left pubgoers stranded at the Tan Hill in Yorkshire.

Mass snowfall in the region has completely covered the pub, leaving many trapped inside for the third night in a row.

The incident has garnered wide-scale interest, as those indoors sang along to Oasis songs performed by the tribute band ‘Noasis’.

13:00 – Radio bulletin two

Alyssa and Sonya are back in the studio to bring you all the headlines at 13:00.

We’ll be covering stories on the Black Friday rush as well as the new Christmas Market in Millennium Square.

12:30 – West Yorkshire Police appeal

West Yorkshire Police are looking to identify a man in connection with a theft in Leeds.

If anyone recognises the person in the picture, they should contact crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

12:20 – Leeds Rhinos announce double signing

Leeds Rhinos women’s team have announced the signing of both Emma Lumley and Jasmine Earnshaw Cudjoe ahead of the 2022 season.

Both players have arrived at the club from neighbours Castleford Tigers as the Rhinos aim to go one better and win the league following Play Off final disappointment against St Helens in October.

12:15 – Fin Green reports

Fin and Isobel are reporting on the news that leaving your bin out after collection, could lead to fines and prosecution.

11:45 – Weather update

It’s been a weekend of disruption in Leeds, with snow covering many parts of the City.

Whilst temperatures remain low, there is no more snow forecast for the week ahead.

11:30 – West Yorkshire Police warning

West Yorkshire Police are warning residents to be vigilant when employing tradespeople to do work for them.

The warning has been repeated by West Yorkshire Police, with the advice being that you should always do your own research on who you are employing to avoid being caught out.

11:15 – Marcelo Bielsa team news update ahead of Crystal Palace

Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa says that Kalvin Phillips will be fit to face Crystal Palace at Elland Road tomorrow night, despite being subbed at half time during the 0-0 draw with Brighton.

Patrick Bamford and Luke Ayling will both feature for the under-23’s as they continue their recovery from injury. They are both set to start in the game away to Manchester City’s under-23’s but it is not yet known when they will be able to return to first team action.

11:00 – Happy Hanukkah

Happy Hanukkah to all those who are celebrating the ‘Festival of Lights’.

The eight day celebration started last night and will last through to next Monday evening.

10:45 – Latest on new Covid-19 variant ‘Omicron’

Mandatory mask-wearing will return on Tuesday. Health Secretary Sajid Javid made the announcement on Saturday evening and the proposals will come into effect during the early hours of Tuesday morning. This is following the increased threat of the Omicron variant, with nine cases already found in the UK.
