5 terrifying treats to enjoy this Halloween weekend in Leeds

With spooky season around the corner, what better way to mark the occasion in style than visiting Leeds' most dastardly destinations.

The city’s streets are already lined with cobwebs, rats and scary freaks, but next Tuesday is set to be even scarier.

Leeds Now has uncovered some devilish delights to tantalize your taste buds, and some juicy events to sink your teeth into.

Starbucks have already released their selection of haunted hot drinks. The most popular being the Pumpkin Spice Latte, containing a pumpkin flavour sauce topped with whipped cream and a sprinkling of cinnamon.

The Alchemist in Leeds Trinity have confirmed they will be offering a new cocktail named the Cereal Killer, made from Coco Pops. They also intend on giving out a free round of drinks to the best dressed to attend on Saturday.

Wetherspoons have launched two new “pitchers” known as Venom and Zombie, which will be available up until 31st October. Spoons fanatics can also try the “Zombie brain double shot”.

Walkabout have also announced they will be celebrating with a special DJ on Halloween night playing some creepy classics, as well as a themed quiz on the Monday night if you’re feeling lucky.

Finally, if you make it as far as Dry Dock on the Otley Run, they will be hosting a karaoke night where you can scream as loud as you want.

So don’t forget to dust off your finest costume, apply that fake blood and embrace your inner monster this weekend.
