Bradford Park Avenue look for first win in two months

Bradford Park Avenue chasing their first win in two months

Bradford Park Avenue are now 8 matches without a win in the Northern Premier League and have 2 must win games coming up in the next two weeks against opposition in and around them.

Park Avenue face up against Marske United who sit one place above them on Saturday and it is a must win game but manager Mark Bower would rather focus on the injury crisis at the club with seven first team players currently out with injury with a few returning in time for the weekend.

Bower said “hopefully we start to turn some of these results in our favour” looking ahead to the Marske match having not recorded a win in the league since 26 August, two months to the day. Marske have won their last three so it’ll be another testing game for Park Avenue but their fortunes need to change soon before relegation becomes a real possibility.

If they can get the three points at the weekend the following game should be a definite victory against bottom of the table Basford who have one win all season and sit 4 points behind Bradford at the point of writing.

Park Avenue will be looking to change their fortunes for the rest of the season with these two big bottom of the table clashes which is not where they would’ve hoped to have been following their relegation from the National League North back in may.
