Rhea Dixon says “it’s an awesome opportunity for me to be able to connect with my heritage” as she is the first non-Jamaican born athlete to play for the national netball team.

Rhea Dixon is one of the newcomers into the Jamaican Sunshine Girls squad 2023.

Dixon has had a very successful early netball career, playing for Leeds Rhinos, Leeds Beckett University, Loughborough Lightning and England Under 21s however, she has just been called up to play for Jamaica in the Fast5 competition in November.
