Recording of something happening – such as a sports match, a band playing, a press conference taking place, a riot.
A radio package is always more interesting with some actuality. Make sure the recording quality is good though. You can also liven up a bulletin piece with a bit of actuality.
If using in a bulletin, save in format:
STORY DESCRIPTION FX
For example, if you’ve got the sound of a dog barking in a story about anti-social behaviour, it could be saved as:
ASB BARKING FX
