The selected sections of audio from a radio interview used in a package or bulletin. Clips should be short – no more than 20 seconds. 12 seconds is a good length for bulletins.
If you want to use more than 20 seconds of an interviewee in a package, break them up with links.
You should always try to get at least two bulletin clips (with unique cues) out of each interviewee.
For a bulletin piece, save a clip in the format:
STORY SURNAME CLIP 1
STORY SURNAME CLIP 2
For example, if you’ve got clips of Joe Bloggs for a story about Graffiti, save both the cue and the audio file with the names:
GRAFFITI BLOGGS CLIP 1
GRAFITTI BLOGGS CLIP 2
