Hay discusses Wise' managerial stint at Leeds United

Phil Hay of the Athletic discusses being a journalist for Leeds coinciding with Ex Chelsea legend Dennis Wise’ tenure as Leeds United manager.

The well regarded Phil Hay, Podcaster and Leeds United writer for The Athletic, recently was asked in an interview what it was like dealing with ex Leeds manager and Chelsea legend Dennis Wise. Wise was appointed for the Peacocks from 2006-2008 in what were dire and miserable times for Leeds united who by the end of Wise’ rule, Sat 5th in League one, Being relegated from the Championship the season prior. Wise eventually resigned from the managerial role in 2008 and went on to pursue an executive role at Newcastle United.
