Thousands of jobs at risk as The Body Shop enters administration

More than 2,200 jobs are now at risk after the Body Shop was bought by German firm, Aurelius.

The cosmetics chain has collapsed into administration less than three months after it was taken over by the private equity company.

Aurelius bought The Body Shop for 207 million pounds in November, and says it had been unable to revive the fortunes of the business after dismal trading over Christmas and New Year.

Lacey Wilson has been an employee at the Leeds Briggate store for three years now.
